Kayla Silvey, Au.D., CCC-A joined Oklahoma Hearing Center May 2014 as a clinical audiologist for the practice. Kayla does a variety of diagnostic assessments to evaluate for auditory and vestibular disorders. She is experienced in assessing and fitting patients with hearing aids, osteointegrated devices, and other forms of assistive listening technology. Her passion is counseling patients with hearing loss and guiding them through the process of amplification.
Dr. Silvey received her Bachelors of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Oklahoma State University in 2010. She then earned her Doctorate in Audiology from Wichita State University in 2014. She completed her externship year at Via Christi Rehabilitation Hospital in Wichita, KS and at Mid-Kansas Ear, Nose and Throat in Wichita, KS.
In her personal life Kayla enjoys spending time with her husband. As a couple they like to travel and are perpetually planning their next trip. Kayla is also actively involved in her community and regularly volunteers at various charity events.
