Laina Burdiek, Au.D., CCC-A joined Oklahoma Hearing Center in 2020 as a clinical audiologist. Laina performs a variety of assessments to evaluate hearing and balance disorders. She is experienced in assessing and fitting patients with hearing aids, vestibular disorders, and other forms of assistive listening technology.
Dr. Burdiek received her Bachelors of Arts in Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences and Disorders from the University of Kansas in 2010. She then earned her Doctorate in Audiology from Wichita State University in 2014. After graduation, she received the Alpha Eta Excellence in Scholarship award, selected from all recent graduates of allied health colleges across the nation. She has presented her research at the national level and was published in the Journal of Speech, Language and Hearing Research.
Dr. Burdiek began her career at Tallgrass Balance and Hearing in Topeka, Kansas. She now resides in Ardmore with her husband, son, and two dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and traveling to new places.
