Eva K. Saffer, Ph.D., CCC-A, joined Oklahoma Hearing Center in 2010 and comes with over 30 years of experience as a clinical audiologist and brings a strong expertise in cochlear implants and auditory processing to our practice. Prior to joining OHC, she worked as an Assistant Professor for the University of Oklahoma Keys Speech and Hearing Clinic. is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, American Speech-Language and Hearing Association, Educational Audiology Association, and is a past-president of the Oklahoma Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
Her educational experience built a foundation that helped her understand her own hearing loss. She is passionate about helping others understand their hearing. She is one of the founding officers of the Hearing Loss Association of America of Norman. HLAA – Norman provides an opportunity for interaction with others with hearing loss while learning about new developments in technology to help compensate for hearing loss. HLAA – Norman meets on the second Saturday of every month at 9:30 in the morning.
Dr. Saffer enjoys spending time with family, round dancing, and traveling. Mixing round dancing with traveling to different dance festivals allows her to enjoy two hobbies at the same time. She started dancing to enhance auditory skills and found that it provides a wonderful social opportunity with a wide variety of people in different parts of the country.
